Valid skipper licenses

Valid skipper license for bareboat charter in Croatia

To charter a bareboat yacht in Croatia, you need a valid skipper’s license and a VHF radio license. Both licenses must either be internationally recognized or issued in Croatia. If you do not have these licenses, you can obtain them from any port authority in Croatia after completing a short course and passing the exam.

Important documents on board

It is important that you carry the original documents on board – no copies are permitted. You should also provide a certified crew list so that you can easily pass any checks by the port authorities. This documentation is crucial for legal protection during your charter vacation.
