The nature of New Zealand

Visit the glaciers, one of the volcanoes or relax on one of the most beautiful beaches of New Zealand’s coastline. Around the coast you will find numerous bays, perfect for mooring in the evening or even in between. The unique nature, subtropical evergreen forests, exciting evidence of Maori culture and beautiful bays and islands compensate for the travel effort.

Special

Where you sail is up to you. You are spoiled for choice. Marine protected areas are excellent sailing grounds, such as the Bay of Islands, the Hauraki Gulf or the Marlborough Sounds. Sheltered harbors and islands offer picturesque scenery before sailing into the open sea. There are also some beautiful sailing areas along the coasts where you can anchor in sheltered bays every evening. The east coast north of Auckland on the way to the Bay of Islands, Kerikeri Inlet or the fjord-like Whangaroa Harbour are great for leisurely cruising along the mainland.
